Addie has been with Common Sense since 2012 and specializes in matching and placing children with families. She facilitates the foster care/adoption journey from beginning to end. “I enjoy helping to assess and develop new families in the beginning phases and then supporting them through matching, placement, and either the reunification or adoption process. With our agency being so small, we get to know our families and children on an intimate level and they become a big part of our lives,” explains Addie.
Addie is a Licensed Social Worker. She received the Berks County Children and Youth Services Blue Ribbon of Appreciation in 2016 and a Certificate of Recognition “Best of the Best” by PA Adoption and Foster Care Facebook Group in 2015. She served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Cumberland County from 2011 to 2013.

On a Personal Note:
Addie always had a desire to work with children and families in some capacity and was drawn to foster care/adoption or school social work. She did her BSW internship at Common Sense in 2012 and felt very passionate about the positive work that the agency was doing. Addie enjoys dancing, yoga, knitting, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and “being a crazy cat lady.”
