Foster Care

On any given day, up to 15,000 children in Pennsylvania need a foster home to help them heal and regain hope for a brighter future. We specialize in helping families who are willing to open up their homes and hearts. Foster parents receive financial support for the care of the children in their homes, and the cost to become an approved foster family is minimal.

Foster care is designed to offer a healing environment for children until they can safely return to their birth homes. Fostering is often a path to adoption, too, allowing people a good way to get some experience parenting before making a commitment to adopt.

There are no unwanted children. Just unfound families.

Common Sense deals with many child welfare agencies in the area to provide foster care services. If you are interested in being a foster family, we will understand your goals and work with the placing agencies to ensure a good match.
